Gardening Scotland is Scotland’s premier Gardening and Horticulture Show

It takes place each May/June. Attracting over 400 Exhibitors and 30,000 visitors over 3 days.

The Challenge

We have worked closely with the team at Gardening Scotland for many years. Our challenge each year is to explore the clients’ objectives for the coming event and develop a corporate branding which will run through all the shows marketing material for that year. As this is an event, the date is set in stone, therefore deadlines need to be adhered too.

Our Method

As Gardening Scotland welcomes both novice and seasonal gardeners to the show it is important that our initial approach/visuals reflect the great outdoors for all ages and experience, ultimately to encourage them to embrace their garden, allotment or window box.

Once the brand for that particular year has been adopted, then the build-up for the Show is carefully planned. No more so than the 80 page Programme itself, as Exhibitors Entries, Products & Services, Event Time Tables, Show Maps and Advertisements are all supplied from different sources, and therefore require to be coordinated accurately and on time.

The Result

Over the years the Show has diversified and grown to include family focused areas, cookery theatres, craft marquees and music, all of which we have successfully marketed to professional bodies who exhibit, and to the general public through branding and design for print, which include posters, leaflets, newsletters and event programmes.

As a result of understanding the clients’ needs, giving them peace of mind, knowing that we won’t miss deadlines, we have enjoyed a fulfilling working relationship for many years.
